YES to your point about Doctor Who. It's definitely one of the reasons why I'm enjoying Moffat's series far more than RTD's, although both have their issues.

THANK YOU. I agree that Moffat’s Who does have its faults [nobody’s perfect], but he clearly doesn’t worship the Doctor in the way that RTD did. The Doctor shouldn’t be comparable to a religious figure. Yes, he’s awesome, but he’s not a god.
